Janice McDonald has written articles and produced videos on all seven continents. She came to Atlanta to be an Anchor for WTBS and moved over to help start up CNN's Headline News (then called CNN2). As a producer and sometimes reporter for CNN, she garnered numerous awards, including eight Emmy nominations. She currently owns her own Atlanta-based production company, J-Mac Productions, and has produced material for the Travel Channel, ABC, NBC, CBS, and VH-1, among others. She also is author of Insiders' Guide to Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand as well as Historic Walking Guides: Bruges. She is a contributing editor for travelgirl magazine and writes for numerous publications.
