As he donned his rucksack for the first time, what he couldn’t have foreseen was that the summer of 2018 would be marked by extremes of both weather and politics unseen for at least forty years.

Nick Corble has published over 25 books and written in excess of 100 plus articles for the national and regional press, from The Times to Practical Motorhome. His subjects have varied from travelogues, biography and social history, as well as fiction; although he is perhaps best known for his works on the canals. He is based in Buckinghamshire.
