Guy Hunter-Watts first came to Andalusia in the early eighties, when he cycled across the country on an old push bike. The trip was the inspiration for a return to formal study in the UK after which he taught at a South American university. He then returned to Spain and, after a year of teaching in Salamanca, headed for the mountains west of Ronda. He now works as a walking guide, writer and helps run a small B&B.
