This is the story of the Narrowboat NB Dulcinea (Dulcie) and her captain Chris, who set off from Devizes in Wiltshire in April 2014 on a journey around the canal network of England and Wales. Leaving her home mooring at Foxhangers and mounting the 'ladder' of locks at Caen Hill, the journey began.Three years, over 1000 miles and 900 locks later, Dulcie and crew returned to the Kennet & Avon canal, battered and bruised but still afloat, having seen many shires, villages, towns, churches and chapels, not to mention the many pubs along the way. The three years of travelling along the cut, the sights, history and the many friends and visitors who joined the journey at various places are described as well as the folk encountered along the way.
