He returned to Scotland over a period of seven years to climb all 282 Munros (mountains over 3000 ft) - a journey of over 1000 miles that inspired his book The Call of the Mountains (2013). He has also written best-sellers on leadership, coaching, and motivation. The Ridgeway is his first guidebook for Rucksack Readers.
