Eleanor Matthews is a hiker, musician, curator, writer and dreamer who hails from South Yorkshire. Originally from Doncaster, she has lived in Nottingham, Oxford, and the Lake District. Whilst living amongst the Cumbrian mountains she challenged herself to climb every single fell included in Wainwright's seven books. After many struggles against bog, rain and inconvenient bus timetables, she summitted her final Wainwright in 2012 and has since moved onto long distance walking, most recently completing the Dales Way.
