Seit seiner Einführung vor über 70 Jahren ist der DUO das Sinnbild des Zwei-in-Einem-Prinzip: Unbeleuchtet zeigt das Kartenbild übersichtlich die einzelnen Länder, sobald die LED-Beleuchtung eingeschaltet ist, macht der aufwändige Druck das physische Abbild zusätzlich sichtbar – mit detaillierter Topografie und dreidimensional wirkenden Erhebungen. Aufwändig gedruckt im 120er Feinraster-Verfahren sind selbst kleinste Schriften kristallklar und scharf abgebildet bis hin zu Details wie Bahn- und Schifffahrtsrouten, gar kalte und warme Meeresströmungen. Das Ergebnis: exzellente Lesbarkeit und Farbtreue.
Das standhafte Detail: Ein Globus braucht festen Halt, damit er seine volle Wirkung entfalten kann. Mit der Regent-Fußausführung ruht das Standmodell auf einem flachkantigen großen Edelstahlfuß und rotiert in einem Edelstahlmeridian.
