Abhishek Gupta is an Assistant Professor of Law at Jamia Hamdard, Delhi, specializing in criminal law, banking law, and securities regulation, with a dedicated research focus on Islamic banking and finance. He earned his Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia and completed his LL.M. with distinction from the Indian Law Institute. He has previously taught at Bennett University and Amity Law School and has collaborated with government agencies, such as the Department of Justice and the Commission on Scientific and Technical Terminologies (Ministry of Education). His publications span Islamic banking, manual scavenging, and contemporary issues in criminal law.
