Under the title "With and Towards One Another - 50 Years of the Evangelischen Kirche von Kurhessen-Waldeck's Constitution", former EKD Council president Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Huber, Oberkirchenrat Dr. Hendrik Munsonius and the historian Prof. Dr. Eckart Conze delivered lectures on the constitutional order of one of the German Evangelical Church's main synods, which represents over 770 parishes. The resulting volume records the event held in Kassel and collects the lectures on the theological intention, judicial structure and historical context of the "Grundordnung", which is seen as a useful tool for church action. The grounds as well as the impulses for the Protestant understanding that a church's legal structure follows directly from its message and is founded on this alone are also documented.
