After a new edition of the volume on the history of the articles of the Basic Law was published in 2010 and a book on 60 years of German Basic Law was published in 2011, Volume 60 (2012) contains newly created formats and traditional categories: inaugural lectures, portrayals of judges, personal encounters with constitutional law, professors of German constitutional law. The new categories are valedictory lectures as well as lectiones aureae. Apart from this, the sections containing scholarly papers and reports on developments in constitutional law in Europe and outside of Europe have been retained.
Nachdem 2010 eine Neuauflage des Bandes zur Entstehungsgeschichte der Artikel des GG und 2011 der Band "60 Jahre deutsches GG" erschienen sind, enthält Band 60 (2012) sowohl traditionelle Rubriken als auch neu geschaffene Literaturformen: es bleibt bei den 'Antrittsvorlesungen', 'Richterbildern', 'Die Staatsrechtslehre in Selbstdarstellungen' sowie 'Deutsche Staatsrechtslehrer'; neu dagegen sind die 'Abschiedsvorlesungen' sowie 'Lectiones Aureae'. Im Übrigen bleibt es bei dem Teil 'Abhandlungen' sowie 'Berichte' über Entwicklungen des Verfassungsrechts im europäischen sowie außereuropäischen Raum.
