The Intergovernmental Group of Expert Meeting on Competition law and Policy, at its June 1999 meeting, agreed that United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) should publish a non-sessional document. This document is a revised version of the Commentary to the Model Law on Competition, taking into account new legislative developments in this field. It is adopted from an Ad hoc Expert Group Meeting to revise the Model Law, held in Geneva in February 2003.
