A resource pack, aimed at engaging young people in the issues of antisocial behaviour. Designed for use by teachers, police, youth offending teams and other professionals, this pack contains: a DVD film exploring one young person's encounters with antisocial behaviour; a CD-ROM; and, a book containing lesson plans designed by specialist teachers.
This is the first pack of its kind targeted at this age group and links into the schools' Key Stage 3 and 4 on Citizenship. It contains an unique book that has been developed by the police, which is very topical in the age of ASBOs and Citizenship and is not just for teachers, but for anyone working with young people. Seriously Weird has been developed by Leicestershire Constabulary, working closely with a group of key partners including Leicester and Rutland education departments, local Youth Offending Teams and Anti-Social Behaviour Units, and Leicester Haymarket Theatre.
