Dr Ioannis Papadopoulos is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Centre for Research on Democracy and Law at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece. He holds two Master's (in Legal Philosophy and Public Law) and a PhD in Law. His fields of interest are European political systems and institutions; European policies; political, legal and moral philosophy; public and comparative law; and fundamental rights law. He has written and edited six books (winning two awards for one of them) and several articles in various journals and volumes.
