Professor Alan Slater BSc, MSc, MBA, DBA is Director of Added Value Consulting Limited a niche management consultancy specialising in logistics and transport advice to multi-national 'blue chip' companies. He is also a visiting professor at Huddersfield University and a non-executive director at the North West Ambulance Trust. He was previously Director of Logistics Consulting at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants and has had industrial line management experience with British Oxygen, Plessey, Rank Organisation and Sony. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
