Flavia Lattanzi is Full Professor of International Law and served as Ad Litem Judge at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (2003-2007) and at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (2007-2016). She has been a member of the International Fact-Finding Commission created by Protocol I additional to the Geneva Conventions and Member and then President of the commission set up by the Italian Ministry of Justice on the implementation of international rules in the matter of criminal judiciary assistance. Emanuela Pistoia is currently Associate Professor of European Union Law at Università di Teramo, Italy. Her main research topics are cooperation in criminal matters, differentiated integration, the EU security and defence policy, competition law, immigration policy, European citizenship.
