The service is updated twice a year. Part I of the first volume covers general principles, including the nature of professional obligation, liability for negligence, liability in contract and tort, contributory negligence, limitation, damages, fiduciary duties and concurrent liabilities. This part also includes litigation tactics in the light of the new Civil Justice Reforms. Part II covers the law relating to 11 individual professions. The second volume includes detailed materials for each profession, including statutory materials, guidelines in relation to expert evidence, practice directions, model letters of instruction, professional guidelines, specimen pleadings, full text cases and case summaries, and tactics in prosecuting or defending actions. Two looseleaf volumes.
Subscribers receive their first year's updating issue as part of the purchase price. Subscribers are then charged annually for subsequent updating.
