Gold Nanoparticle Therapeutics in Alzheimer's Disease: Revolutionizing Diagnosis and Treatment is an essential resource that delves into the groundbreaking use of nanotechnology in the fight against one of the most challenging neurodegenerative disorders. This volume offers an in-depth exploration of how gold nanoparticles can be used to enhance the diagnosis, treatment, and overall understanding of Alzheimer's disease. By examining the molecular mechanisms that enable nanoparticles to cross the blood-brain barrier, the book highlights their role in inhibiting amyloid fibrils and their potential as precise diagnostic tools. Covering a wide range of topics, this comprehensive guide serves as an invaluable reference for researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals at the forefront of Alzheimer's research and nanomedicine.

Arun Kumar Singh has completed M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from Galgotias University, Greater Noida, India. Mr. Singh joined as an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy, Vivekanand Global University Jaipur Rajasthan 303012. His area of interest is in the area of Nano-formulation, Blockchain, IoT, Machine learning, Cancer, Artificial intelligence, Big data, and Neuroscience. He has authored one book with IOP publishing. He has published 5 chapters in big data with the prestigious River Publisher, in Denmark. He has also published 20 review papers among which two are in Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) – Reviews on Cancer. He has published 26 books with different publishers like IOP, Elsevier, CRC PRESS, and Wiley. His strengths are research skills, innovation, leadership, decision-making, and positive thinking. His hard-working nature and devotion to their work make him distinguishable and extraordinary. Dr. Mahesh Narayan is a Full Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Texas at El Paso in the United States. Dr Narayan obtained his B.Sc. in Physics from Bombay University [1991], Ph.D. in Biophysics from The Ohio State University [1997], and pursued postdoctoral studies at Cornell University, USA [1997-2000] and was a Sr. Res. Assoc. at Cornell University [2002-05], USA. He has authored and co-authored several articles and book chapters in the fields of free radical biology, protein-structure function, oxidative folding, and protein misfolding, halogen bonding and in silico drug design, agricultural impact of nanomaterials, and chemical education. His work has been recognized by invitations to speak at over 15 international forums, as well as coverage in a variety of media outlets. The overall goal of his research program is to develop a better understanding of the intracellular processes and events that underlying the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disorders. He is particularly interested in the effects of xenobiotics on amyloid proteins. This is since the majority of neurodegenerative disorders are sporadic, and environmental agents such as pesticides and certain drugs of abuse are risk factors for such neuropathies. Dr. Ashutosh Pareek, Associate Professor at Banasthali Vidyapith with over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical sciences, holds gold medals for his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Pharmacy. Dr. Pareek specializes in neuropharmacology and innovative drug delivery systems, focusing on neurodegenerative disorders, cancer, and autoimmune diseases. His research includes developing advanced drug delivery systems for immunomodulators like naringenin. Dr. Pareek leads a research team working on these critical health issues and has published over 45 research papers and authored five technical books. He holds an international formulation patent and has received numerous awards, including the Zee National Achievers Award 2023. His work is funded by national and international agencies such as ICMR, DST-SERB, DBT, the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and the International Brain Research Organization. He serves as a Review Editor for Frontiers in Pharmacology and Frontiers in Oncology and reviews for leading journals by Elsevier, Springer, and Bentham.
