Nazibuddin Ahmed is Adjunct Professor, Department of Mathematics ,Cotton University. He got retired from Gauhati University as Professor & Head, Department of Mathematics, Gauhati University in September, 2023. He joined Gauhati University as Associate Professor in the year 2006. Earlier, he had served Cotton College (now Cotton University), Guwahati, for more than 20 years. Before joining Cotton College, he had served the Arya Vidypeeth College, Guwahati, for about two and a half years. He passed the M.Sc. in Mathematics in the year 1982, and obtained his PhD degree in 1991 in the field of magneto-fluid dynamics from Gauhati University. Later, he was awarded DSc degree by Gauhati University in 2018 for his research work in the field of heat and mass transfer in hydromagnetic flows. He has more than 200 research papers published to his credit in several reputed journals, including: Journal of Heat Transfer, Chemical Engineering Communications, Canadian Journal Physics, Journal of Engineering Physics and Thermophysics, Heat Transfer Research, Heat Transfer-Asian Research, Heat Transfer, International Journal of Fluid Mechanics Research, Indian Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics, Magnetohydrodynamics, Turkish Journal of Physics, Latin American Applied research, and so on. One of his research paper published in 2017–2018 has been recognized as a top-20 most-read paper in Heat Transfer-Asian Research. He has completed two major research projects: one from the UGC and other from CSIR. He has so far guided 21 research scholars for their PhD degrees. The author of four books in mathematics, including Thermal and Solutal Convections in Some Hydromagnetic Flows (Springer Nature), his present research fields are magneto-fluid dynamics and heat and mass transfer. Dipunja Gohain is Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Girijananda Chowdhury University, Guwahati, Assam, India. Earlier, he was Adjunct Faculty at Cotton University, Guwahati. He completed his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics by Gauhati University, respectively in 2017 and in 2023. His research interests lie in fluid dynamics, with a focus on magnetohydrodynamics, heat and mass transfer and nanofluids, as well as in number theory. He has published in several reputed international and national journals, including ZAMM, Heat Transfer, Journal of Nanofluids, International Journal of Modern Physics B and International Journal of Applied and Computational Mathematics. In addition, he has been delivering talks at various national and international conferences and contributing chapters to conference proceedings. He successfully cleared the CSIR-UGC NET with Junior Research Fellowship, in 2019, and cleared the GATE examination in the same year. Rajdeep Bordoloi is Assistant Professor at Thong Nokbe College, Karbi Anglong, India. He earned his M.Sc. degree in mathematics, in 2018. He successfully cleared the CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) with Junior Research Fellowship in mathematics, in 2019. He was awarded the Ph.D. degree in fluid dynamics by the Department of Mathematics, Gauhati University, in 2023. He has more than 10 research papers published in several journals of repute, including Heat Transfer, ZAMM, International Journal of Modern Physics B, Modern Physics Letters B, Special Topics & Reviews in Porous Media, Latin American Applied Research, Journal of Nanofluids, and so on. His research encompasses various aspects of fluid dynamics, with a focus on magnetohydrodynamic, heat transfer, porous media, hybrid nanofluids and ferrofluids. He has actively participated in several national and international conferences, where he has delivered his research and contributed several book chapters in proceedings.
