Dr. V. Sivasubramanian is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Calicut, Kozhikode, Kerala, India. With more than 25 years of teaching and research experience and five years of industrial experience, he has made significant contributions in the areas of CO₂ sequestration, biofuels, fluidization engineering—hydrodynamics and mass transfer, biochemical engineering, environmental engineering, and energy engineering. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed international journal and conference papers, and has authored/edited seven books. Under his guidance, twenty Ph.D. scholars have successfully completed their research, alongside fifty-five undergraduate and thirty-five postgraduate projects. Dr. Yogesh Kumar Murugesan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Calicut, Kozhikode, India. He received his Ph.D. from McGill University, Canada, where his research in the Materials Modelling Research Group focused on investigation of the structure of biological fibrous composites and their potential for biomimetic materials engineering. His current research interests include sustainable materials for construction applications, energy-efficient processing, and biomass valorization. He also serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Centre for Sustainable Technologies at NIT Calicut.
