Relevant achievements covered in this book form the industry standard "Technical Conditions for Liquid-Solid Hydrocyclone Separator" (HG/T 4380-2012), in which the "Coke Cooling Water Closed Cycle Treatment Process" was approved by the national environmental protection industry standard "Clean Production in Petroleum Refining Industry" (HG/T 125-2013).
Professor Wang Hualin is Dean of School of Resources and Environmental Engineering in East China University of Science and Technology, Science and Technology Elite of Shanghai, China. Over 20 years, Professor Wang was dedicated to academic and technology research on environmental pollution reduction and resource utilization, and committed to liquid-liquid, liquid-solid, gas-liquid cyclone separation theory and technology and high concentration of refractory pollutants source control and recycling process. His research achievements have been applied to the comprehensive control and treatment of wastewater, exhausted gas, waste heat and waste liquid of 110 major chemical plants and offshore platforms in 15 types in 27 provinces and cities of China. Professor Wang was rewarded two Second Prizes of National Science and Technology Progress Award and one Second Prize of National Technological Invention Award. He published over 70 papers in international journals including Environmental Science & technology, Chemical Engineering Journal and Separation and Purification Technology. Prof. Wang also presided over the drafting of 1 national and 2 industrial standards, and has been authorized over 80 invention patents in China and over 18 patents abroad.
