Epigenetic Regulations in Gastrointestinal Cancers offers a comprehensive exploration of the genomic and epigenomic alterations that underpin the aggressive nature of gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. . By synthesizing the latest research and insights into the role of the tumor microenvironment and cellular signaling pathways, this book aims to elucidate the multifaceted nature of GI cancer neoplasia and propose innovative therapeutic strategies. Addressing critical challenges in GI cancer research and treatment, this book serves as a vital resource for researchers and clinicians striving to bridge the gap between basic research and clinical application. It tackles the complexities of GI cancer mechanisms by integrating knowledge from diverse fields, thereby providing a holistic understanding essential for effective therapeutic development. Through real-world case studies and expert contributions, the book highlights successful treatment regimens that leverage epigenetic insights, thereby fostering dialogue among multidisciplinary teams and promoting collaborative approaches to cancer care. Moreover, the book emphasizes the importance of staying abreast of rapid advancements in the field of cancer research. With contributions from leading experts and an accompanying online platform featuring interactive resources, readers will have access to the latest insights and developments in GI cancer research. By identifying specific epigenetic targets and innovative strategies for overcoming treatment resistance, this book aspires to enhance patient outcomes in GI cancers and contribute to the ongoing evolution of personalized medicine in oncology.

Dr. Nagaraju obtained his MSc and his PhD, both in Biotechnology, from Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. He received his DSc from Berhampur University in Berhampur, Odisha, India. Dr. Nagaraju’s research focuses on translational projects related to gastrointestinal malignancies. He has published over 100 research papers in highly reputed international journals and has presented more than 50 abstracts at various national and international conferences. Dr. Nagaraju is author and editor of several published books in Elsevier and Springer Nature. He serves as editorial board member of several internationally recognized academic journals. Dr. Nagaraju has received several international awards including FAACC. He also holds memberships with the Association of Scientists of Indian Origin in America (ASIOA), the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB), The Science Advisory Board, The RNA Society, The American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) and the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR). Dr. Seema Kumari is a Scientist in the Department of Biochemistry and Bioinformatics at GITAM University, where she earned her PhD in Biochemistry. With a strong focus on cancer research, her work explores cancer initiation, progression, metastasis, oxidative stress, and phytochemical-based anticancer drugs. Dr. Seema is dedicated to translating her research into practical applications, as demonstrated by her 56 publications in esteemed peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and international conferences. She has secured government funding from the University Grants Commission (UGC) in New Delhi, India, to support her research initiatives. In addition to her research, Dr. Seema actively engages with the academic community by serving as a reviewer and guest editor for reputable journals and is a member of the Indian Association of Cancer Research. Her contributions significantly advance the field of biochemistry and cancer research.
