Der aus einer Gärtnerfamilie stammende Floristmeister und langjährige Floristiklehrer und -dozent in der Erwachsenenbildung und Jugendförderung wechselte von Handwerk und Ausbildungspädagogik zur schreibenden Zunft. Über ein Jahrzehnt betreute er als Fachredakteur im BLOOM's-Verlag vorrangig den Sektor der Aus- und Weiterbildungsmedien und hat sich in diesem Bereich einen Namen gemacht.
