Dr. Indrajeet Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Govt. Degree College Pawanikala, Sonbhadra, India. He received his B.Sc. (Hons.), M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Botany from the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He has six years of research and three years of teaching experience. His research focuses on search of antioxidant from natural sources, agrowaste management for value addition, impact of abiotic stresses on secondary metabolism of plants, ecotoxicology and risk assessment. Dr. Kumar has published 13 research and review paper in peer reviewed national and international journals and 5 chapters in edited books. He has participated and presented his research in several national and international conferences. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He earned his B.Sc. M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Botany from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He has also served GB Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment, Kosi-Katarmal, Almora, Uttrakhand as a Senior Scientist (2008-2015). Dr. Sharma has 15 years of research, and teaching experiences in the field of ecology and environment. He has made significant contribution in the field of environmental pollution, public health and remediation with special emphasis on heavy metals contamination in ecosystems and their management using sustainable technologies. His studies have led to identify elite population of economically important plants of Indian Himalaya for their sustainable utilization and conservation. His long-term research goals are sustainable management of heavy metal contamination in ecosystem, waste management and sustainable agriculture, and exploring biodiversity elements for novel bioactive compounds. Dr. Sharma has received Young Scientist Award from DST and International Travel Grants from DST, INSA and CSIR for presenting his research works in Germany, USA and Italy. Dr. Sharma has received approximately 17 million funds from, MOEF&CC, GBPNIHE, DBT, DST, UGC, BHU and IoE to execute his research ideas. Dr. Sharma has delivered more than 25 scientific talk in national and international gatherings. He has published more than 59 article papers in national and international journals with citation more than 7000 and h-index 24 with cumulative impact factor of 157.814. He has also contributed 14 chapters in edited books and 20 general articles. He has supervised 4 Ph.D. thesis, 2 post-doctoral, and currently supervising 4 doctoral students. Dr. Prince Kumar Singh is research scholar at the Department of Botany, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He has completed B.Sc. from Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University Jaunpur and M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. Dr. Singh has 7 years of research experiences in the field of Ecology and Environment. His long-term research goal is to advance understanding and address critical challenges in contaminant flux, heavy metal fate and transport, while promoting sustainable practices in agriculture, waste management, ecotoxicology, and risk assessment. Dr. Singh has published 11 research articles in nationally and internationally peer reviewed reputed journals and has also contributed 6 chapters to edited books. Eric D. van Hullebusch is a full professor in biogeochemistry of engineered ecosystems at the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris, Université Paris Cité, France. His research is currently focusing on the implementation of biohydrometallurgical approaches for the recovery of technology critical elements (including selenium and tellurium) as well as polluted soils (bio)remediation with a particular focus on poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
