Prof. Shailendra Kumar Arya presently holds the position of Professor at the Department of Biotechnology Engineering within the University Institute of Engineering & Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He worked at UIET, Biotechnology Branch, Panjab University Chandigarh (Sector 25-B) as an Assistant Professor (Adhoc faculty) Feb. 2013 to June 2017. He received his Ph.D. from Biotechnology Department, Panjab University, Chandigarh (2009, July) and Post doctorate from South Dakota School of Mines & Tech. Rapid City, USA (Jan. 2010 to Jan. 2011). He also did Post doctorate from Agriculture & Agrifood, Canada, Quebec (June 2011 to June 2012). He has published more than 90 articles in scientific journals of repute. Further his name is present in the list of 2.0% scientists of the world in the area of biotechnology for the last two consecutive years, 2022 and 2023, data released by the Stanford University, USA. Dr. Madhu Khatri presently holds the position of Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology Engineering within the University Institute of Engineering & Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. She attained her MS and doctoral degree in Biotechnology from the esteemed University of Massachusetts, MA, USA, in 2009 and 2012 respectively. Dr. Khatri a mentors both PhD and Masters students, guiding them in diverse projects encompassing Nano Science, Environmental biotechnology and Bioremediation. The collaborative efforts of his research team contribute significantly to advancing knowledge and innovation in these critical areas. Sudarshan Sahu is a Research Scholar in Biotechnology Engineering at the University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Since March 2022, he has been fervently pursuing his PhD, focusing on innovative approaches in Wastewater Treatment, Algal Studies, and Bioremediation. With a profound commitment to scientific inquiry, Sudarshan has contributed significantly to his field, 8 publications in esteemed international journals. His research endeavors exemplify his passion for addressing environmental challenges through biotechnological solutions. Sudarshan's academic journey reflects a relentless pursuit of knowledge and a profound dedication to advancing sustainable practices in engineering and biotechnology.
