Dr. Arun Kumar R is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur. He joined IIT Jodhpur in 2019 and prior to that, he worked as an Inspire Faculty at IISc Bangalore—Aerospace department, from 2018 to 2019. Dr. Arun completed his Ph.D. from IIT Madras in 2018 from the Department of Aerospace Engineering. Dr. Arun works in the fields of high-speed aerodynamics, shock waves, and fluidic actuators using experimental and computational techniques. He has published more than thirty articles in reputed International Journals including the Journal of Fluid Mechanics and Physics of Fluids and National and International Conference proceedings. He is a life member of the Society for Shockwave Research, India. Professor G Rajesh is working as a professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Before joining IIT Madras in 2013, he worked in various positions at Keimyung University, South Korea, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Indian Space Research organization (ISRO) and Government Engineering Colleges in Kerala, India. He works in computational and experimental shock wave dynamics, interior, intermediate and exterior ballistics, blast attenuation, armour development. He has published more than eighty articles in reputed International Journals including Journal of Fluid Mechanics and Physics of Fluids and National and International Conference proceedings. He is a life member of International Shockwave Institute, International Ballistic Society, and a life member and governing council member of the Society for Shockwave Research, India. Prof. Jaywant H Arakeri was in the Faculty of the Mechanical Engineering Department, the Centre for Product Design and Manufacture at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, till July 2022. He is currently an honorary professor at JNCaSR, Bangalore, and visiting professor at IIT, Jodhpur. All his education has been in aeronautical engineering, B.Tech. (IIT, Madras), M.E. (IISc), and Ph.D. (Caltech). His research is primarily focused on the fundamental understanding of various phenomena in fluid mechanics. Some of the questions being addressed in his lab relate to the role of turbulence in condensation and droplet growth in clouds; flows around flexible surfaces like fish tails and heart valves; instability of unsteady flows, including those with curvature, like those found in arteries; heat and moisture loss from soils and leaves; thermal management in polyhouses and aeroponic chambers. He is the president of the National Society for Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power. Dr. Hardik Kothadia is currently working as an Associate Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Jodhpur. He received his Ph.D. from IIT Bombay in the area of multiphase flows and heat transfer. He is recipient of the National Award for Best M.Tech. Thesis from Indian Society for Technical Education. He received excellence in Thesis Work Award for Outstanding Research Contributions in Ph.D. work from IIT Bombay. He received teaching excellence award from IIT Jodhpur. His research area includes compact heat exchanger, direct steam generator, thermal energy storage, desalination, and multiphase flows analysis. He has published more than forty articles in reputed international journals and national and international conference proceedings. He is life member of the National Society for Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power and Indian Society for Heat and Mass Transfer
