Pilar has actively participated in over 45 international and national conferences, where she has shared her research findings and engaged in scholarly discussions. Additionally, she has made significant contributions to mentorship and academic supervision, overseeing the successful completion of two PhD dissertations and guiding over 30 undergraduate final dissertations and master's dissertations. Physician with a degree from UFRGS, with medical residency at Clinicas Hospital in Porto Alegre with major on Human Reproduction, Master's degree and Doctorate degree from UFRGS, postdoctoral degree in Human Reproduction field from Hospital Antoine Beclere, France also. Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of UFRGS and at the post-graduation course of the same University. Researcher at CNPq, a reviewer of several international journals such as the European and American Societies of Human Reproduction and is co-editor of the Online Reproductive BioMedicine, a magazine from the renowned Prof. Edwards, test tube baby pioneer. Doctor Sabino has over 200 articles and books published in this field. He participated in thesis evaluation board in several universities, including USP and Escola Paulista de Medicina.
