Alex Rosenberg is R. Taylor Cole Professor of Philosophy at Duke University (with secondary appointments in the biology and political science departments). He has held fellowships from the National Science Foundation, the American Council of Learned Societies, and the Guggenheim Foundation. In 1993 Alex received the Lakatos Award in the philosophy of science. He has authored more than a dozen academic books, several historical novels, and a couple of hundred papers.
