The author of this paper, for many years has been engaged in the development of the concept-dynamics of the Earth's crust evolution (CDEEC). Numerous hypotheses, concepts, models and other theoretical constructions of geotectonics have been analyzed, taking into account the laws of physics, mechanics, chemistry and other natural sciences, as well as not rejected factual data established on the basis of the latest achievements of science. As a result of these studies, a new geotectonic concept (KDEZK) was created, which explains the nature of numerous geotectonic processes. From the position of the concept can be explained the true causes of formation and the mechanism of formation of numerous natural processes, which in previous geotectonic concepts were the object of debate. These discussions include the origin of anomalous phenomena, the formation and mechanism of formation of mountain fold systems, volcano-plutonic processes, the origin of global deep faults, the reasons for the movement of lithospheric masses and so on.

Ahverdiev Ahverdi Tanryverdi oglu. He was born in 1939 in Cheshmali village of Tauz district of Azerbaijan. Doctor of Philosophy in Earth Sciences. He is a leading researcher of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. His scientific activity is related to the study of the Lesser Caucasus in particular volcanology, regional geology and global tectonics.
