This textbook contains about 200 fully solved problems in analytical and numerical methods for nonlinear osccillations. Since many exercise problems are adapted from scientific research papers, this book also has a good reference value for scientists and engineers who work in nonlinear vibration.
This is an open access book. This textbook contains about 200 fully solved problems in analytical and numerical methods for nonlinear osccillations. These comprise all the end-of-chapter problems in Ali H. Nayfeh and Dean T. Mook's famous textbook Nonliear Oscillations. Mathematical software are adopted to make those solutions more accessible from a graphical point of view. This book can be adopted as a supplement to course work study for graduates or senior undergraduates. Since many exercise problems are adapted from scientific research papers, this book also has a good reference value for scientists and engineers who work in nonlinear vibration.

Zeng He, Professor of Department of Mechanics of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He has been engaged in research on vibration and control and structural dynamics for a long time. He has completed one 973 projects and five projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and published more than 100 papers. He has won the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of Hubei Natural Science Award, and the first prize of Hubei Teaching Achievement Award. In 2007, he edited and published Theoretical Mechanics, which is a “Eleventh Five-Year” National Planned Textbook. In 2022, he edited and published the textbook Dynamics.   Wen Jiang, Associate Professor of Department of Mechanics of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She is engaged in nonlinear dynamics and biodynamics research. She has completed one project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and published about 40 papers.   Lin Wang, Professor of Department of Mechanics of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is engaged in nonlinear dynamics and fluid-structure interaction mechanics. He has completed five projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and published more than 100 papers. He has won the first prize of Hubei Natural Science Award and the first prize of Hubei Teaching Achievement Award.
