Dr. P. Sathishkumar currently serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, India. Previously, he served as an academician at the University of Concepcion, Chile, Periyar Maniammai University, India, and Aksum University, Ethiopia. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Bharathidasan University, India, and earned his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology (Chemistry), Tiruchirappalli, India. He is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). He has postdoctoral experience from the University of Concepcion, Chile, and he visited the University of Melbourne as a visiting researcher. His research interest focused on nanomaterials synthesis and its application in environmental remediation technologies.
