Dr. Niravkumar J. Joshi is a physicist, having completed his doctorate at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India. He is a Marie-Curie experienced researcher (TecnioSPRING) at the University of Barcelona, Spain. He has postdoctoral experience in South Korea, Brazil, and the University of California Berkeley, USA, where he developed selective and sensitive microsensors by MEMS techniques. His resent research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of oxide nanostructures and 2D material-based gas sensors. Dr. Sachin T. Navale obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from the School of Physical Sciences, Solapur University, MS, India. He was a postdoctoral and research associate fellow at Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, China, from 2015 to 2019. He also worked as a postdoc researcher at Hanyang University, Seoul, and Inha University, Incheon, South Korea, from Feb. 2021 to Dec. 2021. At present, he is working as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie researcher at Universitat de Barcelona, Spain. He is actively involved in the synthesis of various nanostructures based on metal oxides, conducting polymers, organic/inorganic nanocomposites, MXenes, and metal-organic frameworks for chemiresistive gas sensing applications.
