Dejian Shen is Professor at the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Hohai University. He has published 2 monograph, more than 160 papers including over 100 SCI-indexed papers (8 ESI highly cited papers and 2 ESI hot paper), and more than 90 patents. His research interests include • Assessment, control, and repair of early-age cracks in reinforced concrete structures • Seismic performance and design method for prefabricated construction • FRP technology for repairing damaged and corroded reinforced concrete structures • Quantum chemical simulation, molecular dynamics simulation, and multiscale simulation for concrete. Dr. Xin Wang is Postdoctoral Researcher at the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Hohai University. With a Ph.D. from Hohai University, he has dedicated his career to unraveling the mysteries of construction materials and structures. Driven by a deep curiosity, he has published several high-level research papers on the hydration mechanisms and properties of tricalcium silicate. Through his work, he aims to make complex scientific concepts accessible to a wider audience.
