This shelf of books aims to offer flexibility with 16 complete texts on a single CD-ROM, giving the user fast access to accurate, up-to-date information. It contains a collection of five writers' reference works which cover definitions, help with grammar and usage, and give general encyclopaedic information. The volume also contains four business and law dictionaries with terms and abbreviations and easy-to-understand definitions, four Oxford minidictionaries of the most commonly used European languages, French, German, Spanish and Italian, and dictionaries of scientific and computing terms. Systems requirements are: Windows CD-ROM: IBM PC or full compatible, at least 4Mb of RAM, minimum 80286 processor (protected mode), but 80386 recommended, EGA, VGA monitor or better, DOS 3.1 or higher, Windows 3.1, 3.11 or Windows 95, Windows-compatible CD-ROM drive and Microsoft CD-ROM extensions software (MSCDEX) version 2.0.
