This CD-ROM offers the user an interactive discovery of the origins of life and their evolution in the ocean from the dawn of time - spanning nearly 550 million years covering the Cambrian, Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. The CD-ROM shows species interacted with the environment as well as with one another and reveals how various functions of life - such as the way the ocean animals breathed, moved and protected themselves - changed as they evolved through time. It also tests the user's knowledge in games such as matching an ancestor to a descendant, uncovering an embedded fossil and identifying creatures that existed in a particular time period.
