Chapter Two reviews past studies and publications to provide a holistic understanding of the relationship between terrestrial mammals and mineral licks in the tropical rainforest of Malaysia. Chapter Three describes the effects of prenatal undernutrition in animal production systems. Chapter Four explores the relationships among straw-coloured fruit bats, particularly in connection with kin preference. Chapter Five deals with the functions of red blood cells in rainbow trout.
