It assesses the Pharaohs of the 19th to 21st Dynasty and the related High Priest of Amun and their spouses from the 21st to 22nd Dynasty.

Prof. Dr. Galassi studierte Medizin an den Universitäten Bologna und Utrecht und arbeitet als Paleopathologe. Zahlreiche Publikationen in High-Impact Fachzeitschriften und Buchpublikationen.
Studium der Ägyptologie, Ethnologie und Mittelalterliche Geschichte an der Ludwig Maximilians Universität in München. Promotion an der Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg.Von 1992-2002 Lehrbeauftragter für kulturwissenschaftliche Fächer an der Fachhochschule in Landshut. Nachbau der durch den Tourismus gefährdeten Sargkammern des Tutanchamun und des pharaonischen Kunsthandwerkers Sennedjem aus der Zeit Ramses II. Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeit bei der Präsentation dieser Sonderausstellungen in Museen in Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz, Kanada und USA. Seit 2006 wissenschaftliche Leitung des Ausstellungsprojektes Tutanchamun – Sein Grab und die Schätze, eine Inszenierung der Entdeckungsgeschichte des Grabes von Tutanchamun.
