Carl Mehling is Senior Museum Specialist for Fossil Amphibians, Reptiles and Birds at the American Museum of Natural History, New York. A graduate of the University of California Santa Cruz, he is the author of Dinosaurs! (2005), Fossils (2007) and Would a Dinosaur Eat My Teacher? (2001).
