This important reference provides an overview of the latest developments in the rapidly expanding field of nanohybrid materials.
Following an introduction to the field, the book covers the synthesis, characterization and properties of various conducting and carbon materials, such as polyaniline, polypyrrole and polythiophene combined with carbon fillers. Each chapter is devoted to a single type of material, and also addresses challenges and applications, such as optical sensors and magnetic switches.
With its up-to-date content derived from the latest published results, this will appeal to a broad audience from academic to industrial users.

Arup Choudhury obtained his PhD degree from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, India, in 2006. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Republic of Korea, and at the University of Texas in Dallas, USA, before moving to the Birla Institute of Technology in India, where he is currently assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering & Technology. His main research interests include synthesis of conducting and nanostructured nanocomposite materials, based on polymers or graphene, and the development of graphene/CNT reinforced polymer composites for high-performance applications. Dr. Choudhury has authored more than 35 scientific publications and three book chapters.
