Covering chemical kinetics from the working chemist's point of view, this book and accompanying diskette aim to prepare chemists to devise experiments to test different hypotheses. A number of examples from research literature have been included.
Covering chemical kinetics from the working chemist's point of view, this book aims to prepare chemists to devise experiments to test different hypotheses. A number of examples from research literature have been included. This edition includes a number of end-of-chapter problems taken from the research literature. A key feature is the increased use of "chemical systems". Many new chemical systems are now worked out explicitly. A diskette containing the PC program FASTFIT is included in each copy of the text. This program enables students to conduct an analysis of the numerical data to the same standard as required of journal articles. This is a statistical program for linear and non-linear least squares regression.
