Professor Joe Howe is the Director of the UCLan Centre for Sustainable Development. He has wide-ranging experience of undertaking research and knowledge transfer on the relationship between environmental regulation, stakeholder engagement, public communication of science land use management and spatial planning. Recently he has completed research projects for the UK Environment Agency on the relationship between land use planning and the Strategic Environmental Assessment Directive Dr Hall is an academic researcher, sustainability teacher and research and project manager at UCLAN.
