This volume in the acclaimed "Feynman Lectures on Physics" audio series deals with the fundamentals of electricity and magnetism, and includes a discussion of electromagnetism, differential calculus of vector fields, electrostatics, Gauss's law, and the electric field.
One of the two latest volumes of recorded lectures by the world's greatest physics teacher. This new volumes in the acclaimed Feynman Lectures on Physics audio series deal with the fundamentals of electricity and magnetism. Volume 14, Feynman on Electricity and Magnetism, Part I, includes a discussion of electromagnetism, differential calculus of vector fields, electrostatics, Gauss's law, and the electric field. }For more than thirty years, Richard P. Feynmans three volume Lectures on Physics has been known worldwide as the classic resource for students and professionals alike. Ranging from the most basic principles of Newtonian physics through such formidable theories as Einsteins general relativity, superconductivity, and quantum mechanics, Fenymans lectures stand as a monument of clear exposition and deep insight. Responding to the tremendous clamour for the original audio tapes from which the Lectures on Physics were transcribed, Perseus Books is releasing Feynmans original recordings, remastered for modern audio equipment and re-organized for cohesiveness and convenience. All 111 lectures will be available over the coming years. }

The late Richard P. Feynman was Richard Chace Tolman Professor of Theoretical Physics at the California Institute of Technology. Awarded the 1965 Nobel Prize for his work on the development of quantum electrodynamics, he was one of the most famous beloved figures of the twentieth century, both in physics and in the public arena.
