Debabrata Mukherjee, M.D is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso, Texas. Prior to this he had held the position of the Gill Foundation Professor of Interventional Cardiology, and the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the University of the Kentucky and the Director of the Peripheral Interventional Program at the University of Michigan. Dr. Mukherjee completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Subsequently he completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology also at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr Mukherjee has authored over 600 publications with an H-index of 85 (Google Scholar), edited twenty textbooks on cardiovascular diseases and written more than 100 textbook chapters. In 2020, Dr Mukherjee received the American College of Cardiology Distinguished Fellowship Award for his extensive work as a clinician, educator and scientist and in 2023 received the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions designation [Master Interventionalist of the Society (MSCAI)] having demonstrated excellence in the field over a career, manifested by a commitment to the highest levels of clinical care, innovation, publication, and teaching. Dr Mukherjee has been named on World's Top 2% of Scientists List since 2022. Srihari S. Naidu, MD is Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College, President of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), and Immediate Past President of the NY Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. He is System Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories and Director of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) Center at Westchester Medical Center – one of the busiest in the nation. He attended Brown University for College and Medical School, and remains active as Past President of the Brown Med School Board and Trustee Emeritus of Brown University. Dr. Naidu has authored over 300 publications, edits Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, now also in its 3rd edition, and recently wrote a children’s book “Lindsay’s Big Heart”, which raises awareness about sudden cardiac arrest in kids and HCM and was featured on NBC News. Dr. Naidu is the recipient of many awards including teaching awards at four different institutions, SCAI award for founding the Emerging Leader Mentorship Program, and was named Top 100 Notables in Healthcare by Crain’s New York in 2021. He also sits on the NY Cardiac Advisory Council, appointed by the Commissioner of Health.
