This book is a groundbreaking anthology that bridges the timeless traditions of music with cutting-edge scientific inquiry to redefine the landscape of therapy and wellness. This book unites voices from neuroscience, psychology, literature, environmental science, and spiritual practice to illuminate the transformative power of music. From fetal well-being and mental health to eco-acoustics and elder care, the 14 chapters offer empirical evidence, philosophical insights, and practical frameworks that demonstrate music's universal relevance and therapeutic value. Whether exploring Vedic chants, English literature, or species-specific acoustic tolerance, each contribution underscores music's evolving role as both a healing art and a rigorous science. As the world turns to holistic and evidence-based care, this book charts a visionary path for music therapy—inviting scientists, clinicians, educators, and music lovers to reimagine how sound can heal individuals, communities, and ecosystems alike.
