Jing Ping Sun, MD, FACC, FAHA, served as Professor and the Director of the Cardiology Department at the 301 Hospital and the Chief of the Cardiovascular Institute at the Beijing Military Region Hospital, China. She was also a Visiting Professor in the Department of Cardiology at Case Western Reserve University, Ohio, USA, and a Senior Faculty in the Department of Cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, United States. Additionally, she held professorships at Emory University School of Medicine, USA, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has been invited as a visiting professor at more than ten medical schools in China.Dr Sun was the first Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the American Heart Association (FAHA) from China.She has served as a board member or reviewer for 28 English-language medical journals.
