This book offers a comprehensive understanding of the underlying mechanisms such as genetic factors, environmental triggers, and immunological processes involved in autoimmune diseases.

Evidence-based recommendations are given for the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of various autoimmune conditions, incorporating clinical practice guidelines to foster a patient-centred approach to autoimmune disease management. Emphasis is given on shared decision-making and  patient education, and with a multidisciplinary approach, this book draws on insights from immunology, rheumatology, dermatology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, neurology, and psychology to provide a holistic perspective on autoimmune disease management.

Intended for healthcare professionals across various specialties, as well as researchers and students, this book provides clinicians with practical guidance rooted in the latest scientific evidence, empowering them to deliver optimal care to patients with autoimmune conditions.
