Tom Pepper is a Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon at Guy's and King's College Hospitals. Dual qualified in medicine and dentistry, he completed his surgical training in London and an MSc in Trauma Sciences, before completing his fellowship at Duke University in the USA. His interests are in medical education, leadership and team dynamics, global surgery, and applying evidence from research to achieve the best results for patients. Clare Schilling is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at University College Hospital London subspecialising in the treatment of head and neck cancers. She is Associate Professor and Head of Centre at University College London Head and Neck Academic Centre (HNAC). She undertook her medical degree at Imperial College followed by dentistry at King's College London. During her specialist surgical training she completed a PhD looking at detection of early metastasis from oral cancer and subsequently completed a Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery. Her work at HNAC encompasses clinical trials and translational research in diverse topics including fluorescence guided surgery, augmented reality surgery, health inequalities, and quality outcome measures. Mehmet Manisali qualified from Bristol University Dental School in 1982, and completed a Master's degree followed by medical studies from the University of London in 1992. In 2000 he became a Specialist in Maxillofacial Surgery and was appointed as a Consultant to St. George's Hospital, University of London and Croydon University Hospital. He is past President of the Maxillofacial Surgery section of the Royal Society of Medicine. He is regularly invited by the charity Facing The World to lead surgical missions in Vietnam. His main areas of interest are management of facial trauma, facial aesthetic surgery including orthognathic surgery, surgery of the orbit, and management of facial skin cancer. He has published in these areas and lectures nationally and internationally. He is also the co-founder of the Step-by-Step Surgical Courses.
