Dr. Ågmo conducted interdisciplinary study in his works that combined Internal medicine and estrogen receptor alpha. Anders Ågmo is involved in the study of endocrinology that focuses on neurotransmitters in particular. His work carried out in the field of developmental psychology brings together such families of science as ejaculation, oxytocin, locomotor activity and sexual desire. His research in the fields of dopaminergic, arousal and central nervous system overlaps with other disciplines such as stereospecificity and motor execution. The naloxone study combines topics in areas such as anesthesia and conditioned place preference.
