Christina Tortolani (Author) Dr Christina Tortolani is an Associate Professor at Rhode Island College and Adjunct Professor at Brown Medical School. As a licensed psychologist, she has worked with children, adolescents and adults within various settings and levels of treatment, using evidence-based treatment models. Her current research focuses on the treatment of paediatric eating disorders. Renee D. Rienecke (Author) Dr Renee Rienecke is Director of Clinical Services and Research of the University of Michigan Comprehensive Eating Disorders Programme, and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. Her research interests include the role of expressed emotion in treatment outcome for adolescent eating disorders and the impact of the family on treatment outcome. Melissa Freizinger (Author) Dr Melissa Freizinger has a 20-year background in clinical psychology, with special expertise the treatment of eating disorders. She is currently the Associate Director of the Eating Disorder Program at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she provides consultation, evaluation, and/or behavioural therapy to children, adolescents and young adults.
