Prof. Mohammad Afzal Zargar Professor of Biotechnology at Central University of Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir-India is deputed as Registrar of Central University of Kashmir. Earlier Prof. Zargar was Dean of School of Life Sciences, Central University of Kashmir and also is founder member and Head Department of Biotechnology, Central University of Kashmir. He has completed his M. Sc in Biochemtry from University of Kashmir and Ph.D. from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi. He has teaching experience of 30 of years and research experience of about 35 years. He has guided about 40 M. Phil and Ph. D scholars and also two post doctorate students. He has remained the Principal investigator /co-principal investigator/mentor of many major research projects supported by different funding agencies like DST, ICMR, DBT and UGC. He has also 3 books and about 110 research publications in reputed Journals having a good impact factor to his credit. Dr. Rafiq Amad Lone, Assistant Professor and Academic Coordinator at the Department of Plant Sciences (Botany)Central University of Kashmir Ganderbal Jammu and Kashmir, India. He has ~14 years of research experience and ~8 years of teaching. He specializes in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry. He has won several awards including Young Scientist Award, Best Poster Award, and Senior Scientist Award. He has supervised ~10 graduate students, published many papers and book chapters. He is known as a rising scientist in his field. Dr. Ashraf Ganie, a distinguished endocrinologist of national repute, is applauded nationwide for his pioneering contributions to medical research. He has cemented his legacy as a transformative figure in the realm of medical sciences, spanning his impactful and illustrious career at SKIMS Srinagar and the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. His commitment towards advancing medical science is evident through his leadership in pioneering mega research initiatives while serving as Sub-Dean Research, Head clinical research, Nodal officer MRU etc. He has played a leadership role in research projects of national importance notably, National PCOS Task Force study as Chief Coordinator and Principal Investigator for the India Diabetes (INDIAB) study, GenomeIndia project, a flagship initiative launched by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. With over 200 scientific publications and leadership in the pivotal projects he has garnered international acclaim. Dr. Javid Ahmad Malik M.Sc and M.Phil degrees in Zoology, is an Academician cum Researcher working in the field of Zoology at Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India. His areas of interest include toxicology, pharmacology, and evaluation of phytotherapic approaches using different animal models. He has published 2 books with internationally reputed publication houses like 'igi global' and CRC Taylor and Francis. He has published research papers in national and international journals having good impact factor and also 6 book chapters are also in his credit. Dr. Malik has presented his work at a number of national and international conferences. For his excellency in the research field, he has been awarded the International young scientist award. He has qualified many national and state-level competitive exams, such as the National Eligibility Test (CSIR-NET), Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE-XL), and Jammu and Kashmir State Level Eligibility Test (JKSET) in life sciences.
