The interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health has become increasingly apparent in recent years, highlighted by global challenges such as COVID-19, environmental disasters, and climate change. This realization calls for a paradigm shift in how we approach health and environmental issues. Predicting, preparing for, and surviving an ever-changing menu of deadly health threats requires collaborations never seen in our siloed health systems. The book's fictional, evidence-based stories, rooted in true events, provide invaluable insights that will change the way we understand our place in the global ecosystem. This book immerses readers in the intricate challenges of living on Earth.
